2019 Events

We curate a multitude of events, exhibitions and galleries, where artists can expose, present and sell their work. These include pop up galleries, indoor & outdoor exhibitions, themed & cross medium (poetry, music & art) and several special feature events.

pARTicipate actively encourage local artists and artisans to participate in these events and will assist you to prepare for and help during set up breakdown. We are here to support you as much as we can.

We present art and artists from across all mediums, from pencil sketching, watercolour & oils, jewellery, pottery, glassware, sculpture, photography to street art.

Pop-Up Galleries (Artists Present) & (Artists Not Present)
Held as frequently as we can from March to December (normally every 4-6 weeks and bank holiday weekends) Hosting up to five artists in various buildings in Worcester city centre that we have managed to obtain for the gallery time slot. Courtyard Arts
Held on the 1st Sunday of every month from March to December. Hosting up to six outdoor exhibition stands in the courtyard of the Royal Porcelain Works, Severn Street, Worcester. For more information and how to get involved in the Courtyard Arts please follow the link below.

Hopmarket Arts
Held on the 3rd Sunday of every month from April to December. Hosting up to six outdoor exhibition stands in the inner courtyard of the Hopmarket, off Foregate Street, Worcester. For more information and how to get involved in the Hopmarket Arts please follow the link below.

Riverside Arts
Held annually on the 1st Saturday of the Worcester Festival in August. Hosting up to twenty outdoor exhibition stands along the east bank of the River Severn, Worcester. We are trying to capture the simple glamour and quirkiness of a Parisian Seine-side Arts Market but with a modern twist. Christmas Arts
Held annually on Sunday 8th of December. Hosting up to twenty artist in the Henry Sandon Hall, behind the Royal Porcelain Works Museum, off Severn Street, Worcester. For more information and how to get involved in the Christmas Arts please follow the link below.

Special Events
We arrange special one off events throughout the year, some are known and planned well in advance and others are short notice. We pride ourselves on our ability to establishing and delivering robust artist events at very short notice and to make the most of any opportunity that presents itself – with a focus on improving the awareness of art & artists. PIA Supplier Exhibition 2019
This inaugural exhibition brings together a number of local and national art materials, products and service providers as well as some fixed site gallery owners, all of whom service the art and crafts market. There will be talks and interactive workshops and much more. Artists will be able to see new products, learn about different and new techniques/technologies, as well as discuss issues/ideas directly with the providers. Art For Business
The Art For Business Initiative provides a revenue stream and managed service for public access businesses (such as restaurants, hotels, public houses, cafes, doctor & dentist surgeries, waiting rooms and public spaces). It provides artists with great sales opportunities and brand/name awareness through focused marketing and social media exposure. Talks and Workshops
We provide a series of talks and workshops for hobbyists, emerging and experienced artists & artisans who wish to improve their commercial awareness, obtain greater exposure of their work or learn how to convert a pastime into something more substantial.
